Centurian Order Recruiting

 We are currently recruiting all classes for 25-man raiding. We need mostly looking for healers and DPS but a well geared tank wouldn't hurt either. Our progression raid times are Wednesday-Thursday (6-9 server) , and Sunday (5-9). Other days we can have groups in Kara, ZA , Gruul/Mags, but that is not our current Focus.
We've hit a bit of an attendance slump now that the summer months hit and we're looking to fill the holes. We're looking for people ready to jump into end tier 5 content , and early tier 6. If your gear is decent, you can listen to instructions, able to move out of fire and you fit our guild community you should be perfect!

"The Calling" Footage

| Eclypse writes "Hey, as most of you already know on 12/9/2006 we completed the quest "The Calling", which was a 30-40 man raid quest, in which we had to kill Emissary Roman 'Khan. For those of you that haven't seen it yet or want to experience it again, I filmed it and is now up for the viewing. Sorry, it's not the best quality, tho'. I filmed it right off the screen. I don't have the equipment, so that I can film right off the screen, yet. In fact I don't even know what it's called, but if u do, PLZ tell me. Also, I started up a new YouTube account, so that I can ONLY post Centurian Order videos. As we progress, I'll have more and more videos for the showing.

Hakkar Down and other Progress

So this past week CO/BOV continued to progress very well.
We started on Sunday with a few more Rags attempts, ending the week with a 1% wipe. Molten Core is firmly on farm up to Rags now, hopefully this coming week will put him down for good.
Saturday we did Ony again with a full CO/BOV group and downed her first time ,once again with only 30 people. After Ony we ran ZG, clearing the whole instance and downing Hakkar in 4.5 hours for our first CO/BOV Hakkar kill.
I'd just like to congratulate everyone on their hard work in getting to this point. Hopefully this coming week will continue in some more guild firsts!

Onyxia Down!

Onyxia got a smack down last night on our raid with Inner Sanctum. Other guilds involved include Silver, Blades of Valor, and Edens Edge. Great run guys.

A few add in's on the guild charter approved by the council. Look under the topics "Guild Theft" and "Leaving the Guild." Those are the only changes made at this point, be sure to read them.
Also CO would like to thank the guilds who participated with us last night in our raids, Angels of the Night, and Edens Edge. If I have missed any its because of my horrible memory and we were pleased to have you with us. Two snaps up to the awesome attendence of CO members, 50 DKP each!
Where in the world IS Carmen Sandiego? Why shes right here in WoW on the Backhand server going under the supposed name of Callandra.

Just a normal Sunday night..

Sunday evening started with a standard non-eventful Zul'gurub run. 3
bosses were downed (Snake , Bloodlord and the fishing boss -
Gahzranka), loot-wise nothing really special dropped. Afterwards,
however, afew of us were lucky enough to get into a pick-up Onyxia
raid. It was a first time experience for all, but we all carried
ourselves well and performed our roles perfectly, Onyxia went down on
the second attempt (with very few losses to the raid as a whole) . Then
the loots were distributed....
Congratulations go out to fellow TACO Bengal (Tigeraxe) for getting the mature dragon sinew for his epic hunter bow quest!
and last, but not least..... Our own Whizpers!! for getting her tier 2 set piece. Bloodfang Hood!

| Respect for others.
Verbal abuse of other players, most especially other guildmates, shall not be tolerated. The Guild expects members to adhere to a higher level of standards not embraced by a vast majority of other players. Abuse consists of, but is not limited to, excessive obscenities, racism, threats, insults, and/or unwarranted degrading talk towards other guilds. Violations shall be noted by the guild officers and are subject to demotion or removal from the ranks of the Guild.
Respect in Groups.
Excessive looting in groups or "ninja'ing" is not tolerated under any cirstances in or out of the guild. If plate drops and you're a mage use good judgement and "OMG!!11 I need 2 lewt everything 2 git my mount?!?!" is not an excuse. Punishment will be dealt regarding severity, likely a warning and then an expulsion.
Guild and Officer Channel.
Members are expected to display common decency and intelligence on the chat channels. "1337 talk", shouting in all caps, and other forms of irritable communication are extremely frowned upon and may be subject to review by the guild leaders. We prefer our members to be able to use proper English so trying to shorten your typing time by using "U" instead of "You" is very annoying especially when several people are doing it constantly. So if at all possible be considerate and take the extra fraction of a second to type the whole word of "You" out.
Spam
Members caught spamming the chat channels with an intent to cause irritation or general uproar shall be under immediate ground for demotion and/or banishment from the Guild. Centurian Order shall under no cirstances allow such childish behavior from its members.
Begging.
There will be no begging whether its in the guild chat or among other people, begging is for dogs. You will be warned one time and then removed.
If you need something, ask once. If no one is able to give it to you then, there is no point in asking multiple times.
Guild Theft
Cheating fellow guild members or stealing from them outright is prohibited. Punishment can be anything from demotion to removal from the guild.
Inactivity
In order to reduce inactive members in the guild if your gone for 15 days without letting us know that you will be gone, your character will be removed from the guild. If there is some where you need to be and cant be on, post in the forums letting us know, or make sure you tell a officer.
Promotions
When first becoming a member of the guild your rank is Recruit until you register on the page, and pass your two week probation period, after that you are considered a full member and entitled to promotions within the guild as seen fit. There are many ways to get promoted, one of them is being active and helpful. Speical ranks such as Officer are only given for people qualified for the position, if you have the skills for the position you will be considered as a candidate for them. Other members may point you out to an officer or the guild leader for special notice for acheivements, this is also another way for promotion.
Speaking Out
Any member can submit an announcement, suiting any purpose, to be posted on the Guild homepage.
Leaving The Guild
If for some reason you decide that you need to leave the guild and do so, then realize later that it was a mistake you get a once only chance to come back. If you leave after that your gone. This is to avoid people being wishy washy and coming and going as they please. One time only chance, make it count.
